With infrastructure in Germany and independent of global hyperscalers such as AWS, Google or Azure, Namesphere combines modern container platforms with European data protection law.

Billing
Platform services, object storage, and traffic are organized into plans. Depending on the scope and payload of the operating project, the basic sizing is compiled individually in the Namesphere. Load peaks are absorbed by autoscaling.
Ready to Deploy
A dedicated namespace within the reserved Namesphere is available for running the customer application. This namespace contains config maps, secrets, and permissions for integrating and customizing the customer’s deployment processes. Container replicas enable scalable and highly available application operations.
Onboarding
Get to know the Namesphere team members in charge of account, operations, and DevOps. Having dedicated contacts ensures streamlined communication and clearly defined responsibilities. Together, we achieve rapid deployment and coordinated operational processes.
Cluster Setup PROD
Platform services that have no licensing or functional restrictions regarding cluster operating models are provided as a cluster setup in PROD. Maximum availability for your production project.
STAGE on board
By default, each Namesphere includes a STAGE environment. Compared to the PROD environment, the platform services in the STAGE environment are configured as single instances with reduced system resources. This provides a resource-efficient environment for testing and approvals.

3. Who is behind Namesphere?
Namesphere is backed by the hosting company Metaways Infosystems GmbH. Since its founding in 2001, the Hamburg-based company has been operating business-critical web applications for clients in the SMB and enterprise sectors and developing its own open-source software. The experience gained from over two decades of operating modern web platforms has been directly incorporated into the development of Namesphere.
The team’s strengths lie particularly in project-oriented platform operations, a full-management approach, and practical DevOps expertise.
